Since taking the helm of Dress for Success in 2002, Joi has positioned her organization as a recognized leader in promoting the economic and social development of disadvantaged women, while also being devoted to the expansion of Dress for Success’92 reach so more and more women across the globe have access to resources and tools needed to succeed in the workplace.
Now with global responsibility for more than 115 affiliates in 13 countries, Joi’s day-to-day duties include strategic organizational planning, new program development and implementation, board cultivation, resource development, brand fortification, and the continued conservancy of a welcoming place where disadvantaged women are empowered toward attaining financial independence and self-defined success.
In recent years, Joi has been recognized for her achievements by a number of prominent institutions, including profiles in Crain’s New York Business and the Financial Times. She’s also been named among Working Mother magazine’s Most Powerful Moms in Non-profit.
