We’ve been talking a lot about focus, and now I want to encourage you to expand your focus. So we’ve been thinking about: what do you want to do between now and the end of the year? What is your short term focus? And I think that it is time to also time to lift our head up a little bit and look around, and look down the time horizon a little bit to think about what moves you can make in 2021 overall, that are going to set you up for 2022.
I think 2022 is going to be the beginning of the roaring 20’s. And personally, I have a 2021 plan that is going to set me up for 2022 and 2023, and I’m encouraging you to think on that same time horizon: 21-22-23: what are the moves that you can be making to set you up for the next wave of success that you want to catch?
In our business, we are building an app that will be launching soon. It’s not something that is going to make money for us immediately, but it will down the road. It’s going to help with those 21-22-23 initiatives that we are working on. We are, you know, of course transforming our primary offering to our clients, and we have this really strong VIP one-on-one practice now and this really strong big group coaching experience called BDC Mastermind. Those are the things that we are putting in place to set us up for the demands of what’s coming in the next few years.
So tomorrow I’ll be doing a Facebook Live to share about those kinds of things- the moves that we’re making.. my kind of challenge to get business owners thinking not only in this immediate time horizon, but also in this longer time horizon, which is technically more of a mid time horizon, the next three years is not a long time horizon.
So in addition to this immediate focus, would you do some journaling, talking, thinking, creating, about what you want to do in 21-22-23, how you see things unfolding in your industry, in your market, in your business. Looking forward to hearing what you create!~
