The next time things start falling apart.. rather than steering out of control to avoid a breakdown.. try rolling with the punches so that you can break through.

I know that things might not be going according to plan right now. Maybe your life and your business are feeling a bit off track. This is the time to embrace the mindset that breakdowns lead to breakthroughs.

So, when things fall apart for me, you – my business isn’t going the way I want it to, something is happening in my life, I’m experiencing some suffering – in those moments, that is when I bring forward -on purpose- I myself am bringing forward the mindset that breakdowns lead to breakthroughs.

A breakdown just means that things aren’t going the way that I’m planning or the way that I am committed to having my life or my business perform or function. So there’s a breakdown against what I’m committed to- against what I want to have happen. And so rather than staying upset, being upset, getting upset, and having that take me further off track- my commitment is then to embrace the breakdown. In fact, to celebrate the breakdown.

I’ve learned after twenty five in business, and ten years at the helm of this company Black Dress Circle; I have learned that when things don’t go according to plan, that when I let go go and I allow things to unfold, the most amazing things happen in my business and in my life. It’s not what I expected, it’s what I had planned or intended for, but it often turns out to be better.

It’s hard to let go, but that is the mindset that makes the biggest difference for me when things aren’t going according to plan, and I hope it makes a difference for you- that breakdowns lead to breakthroughs.~
